Did you know…
Did you know that children who have regular dental cleanings and exams are less likely to develop cavities, reducing the risk by 50%?
At Memorial Children’s Dentistry, we focus on prevention, comfort, and long-term smile protection for children. Our board-certified pediatric dentists carefully check your child’s teeth and recommend dental sealants when they can help protect cavity-prone molars.
We make the sealant process simple, quick, and kid-friendly. With no shots or drilling needed, dental sealants are an easy way to give your child’s back teeth extra protection against cavities.

Regular cleanings remove plaque buildup, which is the leading cause of cavities and tooth decay in children.
Cleanings help prevent gum inflammation and early-stage gum disease (gingivitis), promoting healthy gums for your child.
Routine exams allow our dental team to identify any issues early, making treatment simpler and more effective.
The dentist will start by examining your child’s teeth, gums, and mouth, looking for any signs of cavities, gum disease, or other dental issues. X-rays may be taken to get a complete view of their oral health.
A dental hygienist will then perform a professional cleaning, removing plaque, tartar, and stains from your child’s teeth. This helps prevent cavities and gum disease, ensuring a healthy smile.
After the cleaning, a fluoride treatment may be applied to strengthen the teeth and protect against decay. The dentist will also offer personalized tips to help your child maintain good oral hygiene between visits.
